West View

West View is a converted 16th Century barn located on the edge of the village of Hawkshead, just a five minute walk from the village centre and all its amenities.

With stunning countryside views over fields and woodland this cottage offers a wonderful break away from the stresses of everyday life, and guests will immediately feel relaxed as soon as they enter the comfortable lounge with its sofas, modern gas fire, TV/DVD, and WiFi. 

The property’s kitchen/diner is light and spacious, with a pine dining table seating six, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. 

Just off from the kitchen is a wonderfully light and sunny conservatory, which offers guests a place to sit with a drink and enjoy the uninterrupted views over the neighbouring countryside. There is also a handy ground-floor WC. 

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated in a restful and understated style. The first of these has a king-sized bed, then there is a twin room and a bunk bedroom which is suitable for younger guests. The bathroom, also located on the first floor, has an over–bath shower and WC.

 Outside, the property enjoys a quiet, attractive garden with patioed seating area and offers off-road parking for two cars, as well as secure storage for bikes, etc.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage is fully gas centrally heated.
